The Best Restaurants Around the World 2026: Every Country on One Map

    Updated Oct 26, 2026

This is the start of a guide to the best restaurants in every country we sell eSIMs for, built for planning a trip rather than a last-minute search. Each country has its own map and list, and the bigger cities get a guide of their own. Pick where you are going.

Places are ordered by list standing, then press coverage. This is not a ranking of our own. Last checked October 26, 2026.

    How the series works

A place gets in one of two ways. It holds an award in a 2024, 2025 or 2026 edition of a recognised list, or it is a local institution that at least two established outlets have covered, like a deli or a noodle shop that has been written up for decades. We do not rank, and nothing here is paid for. Each guide links every award and article on the restaurant's card, so you can check it before you book.

    Frequently asked questions

Which countries does this restaurant series cover?+
Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy, New Zealand and United States, with a guide for each country and for its main cities. More countries are on the way.
Where do the restaurants come from?+
From the 2024 to 2026 editions of MICHELIN, The World's 50 Best Restaurants and its regional lists, La Liste, TasteAtlas, Tabelog, Black Pearl, 50 Top Pizza and national guides, plus local institutions that at least two established outlets have covered. Every award and article is linked on each restaurant's card.
    Is this a ranking?+
No. We gather what the lists and the press already say and put it on one map. Our own ranking will come later as a separate layer.

    Methodology

    How we did this comparison

This series aggregates; it does not rank. A restaurant is included if it holds a place on a recognised list in a 2024, 2025 or 2026 edition, linked to the list publisher's own page, or if it is a local institution covered by at least two established outlets. Each country guide lists the editions it uses and the date its entries were checked.

    Lotsotravel Team

The Lotsotravel editorial team writes hands-on guides for international travelers. We test eSIMs on real devices in real destinations, monitor Canadian and U.S. carrier pricing weekly, and compare coverage across local network partners before we recommend a plan. Every comparison post is updated when carriers change their rates so the numbers you read here match what you would pay today.
