    Getting online at a circuit

    1

    Install before you fly

Buy the plan for the race you are heading to and install the profile over home Wi-Fi. Modern phones hold several eSIMs at once, so you can load a whole run of races in advance.

    2

    Land and switch

Set the eSIM as your data line when you arrive. On the European leg you do not even do that much: one Europe+ profile re-attaches to a local network as you cross each border.

    3

    Keep your number

Leave your home SIM on for calls, texts and 2FA codes, and turn its roaming off so it never bills you. WhatsApp and FaceTime run on the eSIM data.

    Questions fans ask

Who is leading the 2026 F1 championship?
The standings table on this page updates from the Jolpica-F1 API within hours of each race, so it shows the current leader and the points gap rather than a figure typed in once and forgotten.
Is there one eSIM that covers the whole 2026 F1 season?
No single plan covers every race, but the European leg comes close. Six rounds between July and September sit in countries covered by the Europe+ plan, so one eSIM carries you across all of them with no swapping. The flyaway rounds each need their own country eSIM, stored on the same phone.
How much data do I need for a race weekend?
Most fans use 1 to 3 GB a day once you add maps to the circuit, a rideshare app, a mobile ticket, group chats and a few clips. Three days of that, plus time in the host city, fits a 5 GB to 10 GB plan.
Will I have signal at a packed circuit?
You will have a connection, but expect it to slow down when the crowd peaks around the start and the finish. That congestion hits every network at a full venue, not just an eSIM. The connection holds up well on the journey in, around the concourses and on the ride back out.
Can I install the eSIM before I fly?
Yes, and you should. Buy the plan, wait for the email saying your QR code is ready, then install it over home Wi-Fi. Installing is not the same as activating, so your plan window starts when you arrive.
