The Epic Pass is US$1,169 and the Epic Local Pass US$869 for adults 31 and over, per epicpass.com on 26 October 2026, which says prices go up on 15 November.

Does the Ikon Pass have blackout dates in 2026/27?+

The full Ikon Pass has none at most destinations. The Ikon Base and Session passes black out 26 to 30 December 2026, 16 to 17 January 2027 and 13 to 14 February 2027 where flagged, per ikonpass.com.

Can you use the Ikon or Epic Pass in Japan?+

Both work in Japan for 2026/27. Ikon: 10 destinations and Epic: 2 destinations (Hakuba Valley and Rusutsu, 5 consecutive days each).

Pass access for the 2026/27 season comes only from ikonpass.com and epicpass.com, read on 26 October 2026; check the operator's page before you buy, because access and blackout dates can change.

Days to ski every marked run, how long to stay and how many days of data to buy are our own estimates, not resort figures. We assume a confident intermediate covers 35 km of marked piste in a full day, lifts included, and add a travel day either side for the eSIM. North American resorts publish skiable acreage rather than piste length, so where we rank them we rank by skiable area.
