Where it runs out
There is no complimentary allowance on this card, so every megabyte you use abroad comes from either your Canadian carrier's roaming rate or a travel eSIM you buy yourself. The gap is the part worth planning, and it is cheaper to close than most people expect.

Best for
Rogers households that will use the entertainment credit and the roaming days, where the $495 is really a bundled telecom spend.
Watch out
Most of the value is denominated in Rogers credit, so it collapses if you leave Rogers. Reporting also points to the Roam Like Home days being replaced by an annual roaming credit in January 2027, so confirm what your card carries before you rely on it.
The conditions on the eSIM benefit
- FlexiRoam's Canadian offer terms name Consumer World Mastercard and World Elite Mastercard. World Legend, a newer tier above World Elite, is not named in those terms, so we will not claim it qualifies or that it does not.
- Redemption runs through the FlexiRoam app: you download it, create an account and enter the full 16-digit card number to prove eligibility.
- Each plan must be activated and consumed within the calendar year, and each 1GB plan is activated separately.
- Five days is the whole life of a plan once activated, so an unused day is a lost day.
- FlexiRoam excludes North Korea, Ukraine, Western Sahara and Tanzania from the complimentary plans.
- Mastercard states neither it nor your card issuer is responsible for the benefit; your agreement is with FlexiRoam.
