Austria is one of the easiest 2027 races to buy, as long as you are not set on a Red Bull grandstand. The Red Bull Ring opened its 2027 sale on 29 June 2026, the day after that year's race, for the 9 to 11 July 2027 weekend (Formula 1). Four months later, general admission and three grandstands were still available.
Key takeaways
- On sale since 29 June 2026, from the promoter and the F1 store.
- General admission is €170 for three days at the promoter, €199 at the F1 store.
- Start-Ziel and every Red Bull grandstand were sold out by 1 November 2026.
- Under-15s pay €36 for a grandstand; child general admission is free.
When the sale opened, and when it will next
The promoter publishes its next sale on the same news page every summer. In 2026 it went up on 29 June, and an archived copy from October 2025 shows the 2026 tickets launching on 30 June 2025 with "Race fans can secure the best seats starting today." Both times the sale opened the day after the race, with no presale published.
When Formula 1 confirmed the calendar in September 2026, the circuit noted that 2027 tickets "are still available".
2027 prices at the Red Bull Ring
From the promoter's ticket shop, all taxes included, on 1 November 2026:
| Ticket | Weekend | Sunday | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| General admission | €170 | €155 | Available |
| T10 | €435 | €400 | Available |
| T3 | €570 | €520 | Available |
| Steiermark | €730 | weekend only | Available |
| Start-Ziel | €750 | €675 | Sold out |
| Red Bull A | €730 | Sold out | |
| Red Bull B | €570 | €520 | Sold out |
| Red Bull J to N | €290 | €260 | Sold out |
Children count as children if they have not turned 15 by race day (born after 11 July 2012). Their grandstand ticket is €36 and their general admission ticket is free, but either one has to be ordered, and a paying adult must come with them. Holders of a disabled badge get 50% off, and the wheelchair spaces are on Start-Ziel. Tickets are digital and sent no later than 10 days before the race. The shop also lists camping, parking and a bus shuttle.
Fans going to more than one Spielberg event can look at the 2027 Season Pass: €395 for Standard, which includes an F1 standing spot and the Pit Lane Walk, or €1,150 for Premium with a Start-Ziel seat. The circuit marks both prices as subject to change.
Promoter or F1 store?
The F1 store says "Tickets on sale now", and its ticket page sells three-day passes with no booking fee. The same seats cost more there:
- General admission: €199, against €170 at the promoter.
- T10: €490, against €435.
- T3: €660, against €570.
- Child grandstand ticket: €42, against €36.
Steiermark showed as sold out on the F1 store while the promoter still sold it.
Our take: buy from the Red Bull Ring shop unless you want something only Formula 1 sells. It was cheaper on every seat we compared and had more left.
Hospitality
- F1 Hospitality lists the Paddock Club on a waitlist, with packages "to be announced soon".
- The promoter lists a Paddock Club page in its ticket shop, with no price shown.
- F1 Experiences lists four 2027 packages: Starter (Thursday to Sunday, with a seat in T10 or a Red Bull grandstand), Hero (Start-Ziel or Red Bull B), Podium at Start-Ziel, and Champions Club, plus a deposit option.
Our hospitality guide explains what each tier includes.
Getting to Spielberg
Spielberg is rural, so plan the last leg. The promoter's arrival pages cover:
- Train to Knittelfeld, then a free shuttle bus to the circuit and back after the race. A Styria leisure ticket costs €14 a day from Friday to Sunday.
- Long-distance shuttle buses with over 120 stops across Vienna, Salzburg, Carinthia, Lower Austria and Styria, booked separately from the race ticket.
- Airports (by plane): Graz is 88 km away (about an hour), Klagenfurt 117 km, and Vienna and Linz about two hours.
Our Europe eSIM covers Austria and 32 other countries, from $4.95 for 5GB over 5 days. If you are doing Silverstone the weekend before or Spa two weeks later, one plan covers all three. Our British GP 2027 and Belgian GP 2027 guides have those races, and the F1 2027 on-sale dates hub has the rest.
Spielberg in July?
A Europe eSIM gets you from Graz or Vienna to the Knittelfeld shuttle with data the whole way, and keeps working into the UK and Belgium. Plans from $4.95 USD.

Methodology
How we did this comparison
Read on redbullring.com, the Red Bull Ring ticket shop and its PDF price list, the Formula 1 ticket store and F1 Experiences on 1 November 2026. The 2026 sale date comes from an Internet Archive copy of the same Red Bull Ring news page, which the promoter reuses each year. F1 Experiences displays prices in the visitor's local currency, so we do not quote them. We do not link resale sites.
