You can book the 2027 United States Grand Prix now, as long as you buy from the circuit. The race runs 22 to 24 October 2027 (Formula 1 calendar), and COTA's F1 ticket page already tells fans to "secure your spot now". Formula 1's own store is a step behind: it still showed a waitlist for Austin when we checked on 30 October 2026.
Key takeaways
- On sale from COTA. Three-day Grounds Passes listed from 365.
- COTA is also taking 2027 deposits, sold as a way to lock in the lowest price.
- The F1 ticket store, F1 Hospitality and F1 Experiences were all waitlist-only for Austin 2027.
- No Amex presale for Austin 2027 had been announced.
Where to buy, and what is open
COTA direct. COTA's 2027 page lists 2027 three-day Grounds Passes at "365+". The page does not print a currency or say whether fees are included. It also takes 2027 deposits under a "lock in the lowest price" banner, without stating the deposit amount in its text. COTA's checkout runs through its own Ticketmaster account pages. That is the primary seller, not a resale market.
The F1 store waitlist. The official F1 ticket store shows a 2027 waitlist for Austin, and the F1 Hospitality waitlist offers "exclusive access to pre-sale tickets before they are released to the public".
F1 Experiences. The 2027 Austin page had a waitlist only. Unlike Las Vegas, there was no deposit programme for Austin when we checked.
Amex. American Express's US F1 page listed 2026 races only. Our presales guide tracks which 2027 races have had an Amex window.
Hospitality at COTA
COTA sells premium hospitality by appointment with a sales rep and publishes no prices. Every package includes the Super Stage concerts on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 October and the Sunday post-race show at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. The options on the page:
- The Terrace at Turn 6, shared, over the esses at Turns 4 to 6, with food and non-alcoholic drinks included, alcohol for purchase, and a reserved seat.
- Club SI, a two-storey lounge.
- Shared and private suites.
- Paddock Club. COTA's Paddock Club page, still dated for the 2026 race, lists a three-day suite above the team garages, a daily Paddock Club pit lane walk, a track tour and an open bar, with a waitlist form and no price.
The pit lane walk is the line to look for if you want to see the garages up close. Our hospitality guide explains how it differs from paddock access.
Getting to COTA
COTA's travel page says on-site parking needs a pass bought in advance. Rideshare is not allowed on COTA Boulevard and runs from McAngus Lot instead, with a complimentary tram to the box office near Grand Plaza. For a sense of parking cost, COTA's 2026 parking page started at $52 for Lot F. Those are 2026 prices. The F1 store adds that the circuit is 16 km from Austin-Bergstrom airport and that official shuttles run from points in Austin.
Our Austin 2026 guide covers the circuit, the heat and phone signal on race day. A USA eSIM covers Austin and Las Vegas four weeks later on one plan. Our Mexico City GP 2027 tickets guide covers the race the following weekend, and the F1 2027 on-sale dates hub has every round.

How we did this comparison
Read on Circuit of the Americas, the Formula 1 ticket store and F1 Experiences on 30 October 2026. COTA prints its 2027 Grounds Pass price without a currency symbol or a note on fees, so we quote it as printed. We do not link resale sites.
