- The Amex presale (2 to 4 October) was open to any Amex card from any country.

How the 2027 sale ran
From the promoter's announcement and ticketing FAQ:
| Date (2026) | Phase |
|---|---|
| Thursday 1 October | Albert Park Circuit Club membership on sale |
| Friday 2 October, 12:00 pm, to Sunday 4 October, 12:00 pm | Amex presale |
| Tuesday 6 October, 12:00 pm AEDT | General public on-sale |
The Amex presale was open to "any variation of American Express (Amex) card, from any country", through Ticketmaster, with a limit of 6 tickets; the general sale allows 10. Card Members could buy hospitality, grandstand tickets and Park Passes. Our presales guide compares it with the others.
The Albert Park Circuit Club, new for 2027, is a membership that guarantees a ticket with priority access before the general on-sale. Standalone tickets are still sold. For 2028, that and the Amex presale are the two early routes.
Tickets
The promoter's only published 2027 price is the floor: single-day Park Passes (general admission) from A$45 for adults. Kids 14 and under go free on Thursday with a Park Pass (ticket guide). Grandstand tickets come in Adult (15 and over) and Junior (3 to 14), all grandstands share one Ticketmaster seat map for 2027, and aisle, collector and souvenir tickets cost A$25 extra. No tickets are sold at the gate. Sales opened more than three weeks before this post, so check availability on the tickets page.
Hospitality and the pit lane
The promoter's FAQ says pit lane walks are not available for purchase. F1 Experiences lists three 2027 packages without prices: Pit Entry Rising Stars (an F2/F3 paddock pass, a support-race garage tour and a grid walk), the F1 Experiences Lounge at Fangio (grid walk, trophy photo and a guided F1 paddock tour), and Champions Club (grid walk, trophy photo and a guided paddock tour). The F1 ticket store showed a waitlist. Our hospitality guide explains what a grid walk and a paddock tour each include.
Getting to Albert Park
Park Pass and grandstand tickets include public transport to and from the event, according to the promoter's ticketing FAQ. The getting-here page says shuttle trams run from Flinders Street, Southern Cross, Anzac and Flagstaff. From Anzac station on the Metro Tunnel, take Exit 3 and walk eight minutes to Gate 5. There is no public parking. Melbourne Airport is 29 km away, with SkyBus to Southern Cross.
An Australia eSIM covers the trip. Suzuka races the next weekend and goes on sale on 15 November 2026; see our Japanese GP 2027 tickets guide and the F1 2027 on-sale dates hub.

Methodology
How we did this comparison
Read on grandprix.com.au, the Formula 1 ticket store and F1 Experiences on 30 October 2026. The promoter's pages did not print grandstand, hospitality or membership prices, so the only price quoted is the published Park Pass floor. The promoter's FAQ labels the presale's end as AEST in one answer and AEDT in another; daylight saving began on 4 October, so we give the times without a zone. We do not link resale sites.
