The ground, and getting there
Brisbane Stadium is at 40 Castlemaine Street in Milton, wedged into a residential inner suburb. That location is why the transport advice is uniform: do not drive.
- Milton station is the closest, a few minutes' walk from the gates.
- Roma Street station is a slightly longer walk and connects to more lines.
- Walking from the CBD takes roughly 25-30 minutes along the river or through Caxton Street.
Streets around the ground close before and after matches, and Caxton Street becomes a pre-match institution rather than a thoroughfare. Check Translink for services on the day, event schedules differ from the ordinary timetable.
