If you are trying to book the 2027 Canadian Grand Prix and cannot find a buy button, that is not you. The race is on the calendar for 21 to 23 May 2027, but the promoter's 2027 tickets page says the general public sale, originally scheduled for 24 September 2026, has been postponed. No new date had been announced by 30 October 2026.
Key takeaways
- General sale postponed from 24 September 2026. No new date yet.
- An Amex Cardmember presale covered Grandstands 16 and 32 only.
- Renewals for 2026 seat holders are closed, except Grandstand 1.
- The F1 store, F1 Hospitality and the promoter's newsletter are the places to wait.
What has happened so far
Renewals. The promoter's FAQ says renewal for previous ticket holders started the week after the 2026 race and is now closed for grandstands and terraces, except Grandstand 1. Suites follow a similar order: last year's customers first, then an official on-sale, through loges@gpcanada.ca.
The Amex presale. The promoter's Amex page describes a 2027 Cardmember presale for two grandstands:
- Grandstand 16, opposite the pit lane at Turns 13 and 14, the Wall of Champions, with backrest seating.
- Grandstand 32, at Turns 6 and 7.
Tickets had to be charged in full to an American Express Card, with a limit of 8 per transaction. They are valid for 2027 only and cannot be renewed. Both grandstand pages list the three-day ticket at "price on request", with taxes and fees included. American Express Canada describes the benefit as Front Of The Line Amex Presale Tickets that include next year's race. The promoter's presale links now redirect to its home page.
General sale. Postponed, no date. The FAQ says 2027 tickets are "not yet on sale" and points to the newsletter for notice.
Where to wait
- The promoter's newsletter, signed up from the FAQ page.
- The F1 ticket store, which shows a 2027 Montreal waitlist. Formula 1 says its waitlists give exclusive access to pre-sale tickets before public release.
- F1 Hospitality, which has a separate Paddock Club waitlist with packages to be announced.
Our presales guide explains how these waitlists and the Amex programme compare.
Hospitality
F1 Experiences already lists 2027 Montreal packages, without prices:
- Flyer, which adds a helicopter tour.
- F1 Experiences Live, with an Aramco pit lane walk and a track tour.
- F1 Experiences Lounge Elite Suite, with a paddock tour.
- Champions Club Blanc and Rouge, three days, with a grid walk and a paddock tour.
There was no Paddock Club package on that page. Our hospitality guide explains the difference between a pit lane walk, a grid walk and a paddock tour.
Getting to the circuit
The circuit sits on Île Notre-Dame, and the promoter's getting-there page steers everyone onto public transport:
- Metro line 4 (Yellow) to Jean-Drapeau, by Main Gate 1. The F1 store puts it at under 10 minutes from downtown.
- River shuttles from Longueuil or the Old Port, reservation mandatory.
- No taxis or rideshare on the Concorde Bridge or Avenue Pierre-Dupuy without a parking pass.
A Canada eSIM covers the trip. If you are pairing Montreal with Miami three weeks earlier, the Americas plans cover the US and Canada on one eSIM. Our Miami GP 2027 tickets guide covers that race, and the F1 2027 on-sale dates hub will be updated when Montreal sets a date.

Methodology
How we did this comparison
Read on the Grand Prix du Canada site, American Express Canada, the Formula 1 ticket store and F1 Experiences on 30 October 2026. The promoter publishes no 2027 prices, and Grandstands 16 and 32 show 'price on request', so no Montreal ticket prices appear here. We do not link resale sites.
