The 2027 Mexico City Grand Prix is set for 29 to 31 October 2027, but the promoter's announcement says ticket sale and price details "será comunicada posteriormente": they will come later. The F1 ticket store showed only a waitlist on 30 October 2026. In Mexico the presales have run through banks rather than Amex, so here is how the last sale ran.
Key takeaways
- Not on sale. 2027 sale dates and prices not announced as of 30 October 2026.
- For 2026, the promoter ran a Banamex presale, then a Banorte early sale, then general sale, and on 14 November 2025 said all three phases had sold out.
- A final HSBC-cardholder-only sale ran in May 2026.
- 2026 seat holders with a Derecho de Primera Opción get first claim on the same seat for 2027.
How the 2026 sale ran
The promoter announced the 2026 sale on 28 October 2025 (announcement):
| Phase | Date | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Preventa Banamex | Monday 10 November 2025, from 11am | Banamex cardholders |
| Venta Anticipada Banorte | Tuesday 11 November 2025, from 11am | Banorte cardholders |
| General sale | Wednesday 12 November 2025 | Everyone |
Credit-card buyers in the bank phases could spread payments over 6 or 12 interest-free months. All three phases sold out by 14 November. A last Post Venta HSBC ran on 19 and 20 May 2026 for HSBC cardholders only, through Ticketmaster, with up to 8 tickets per transaction.
That is the 2026 pattern. No 2027 bank presale has been announced, and the banks could change. In Mexico the "other company" running presales is a bank rather than Amex; our presales guide compares this with the Amex programme elsewhere.
The Derecho de Primera Opción
The DPO was a paid add-on to a 2026 ticket. It gives the holder the right to buy the same seat for 2027 and 2028, and holders are emailed when the 2027 sale opens. It is limited to 8 per person, cannot be refunded or transferred, and is not deducted from the ticket price. If unused in 2027 it carries to 2028. Registration has closed, so it only helps if you already hold one. The promoter also says it guarantees tickets in every sales phase, not only for DPO holders.
What 2026 cost
No 2027 prices are published. The 2026 prices on the promoter's tickets page, in pesos and before Ticketmaster service charges, started at MXN 3,900 in the Naranja zone (Grada 2A) and ran to MXN 30,500 in the Verde zone (Grada 1). The Grand Tour started at MXN 19,900. These are 2026 prices. Tickets are Ticketmaster SafeTix digital tickets, managed in the México GP account.
Hospitality
The promoter's VIP page, still for 2026 and without prices, lists the Formula One Paddock Club, Paddock Club Estadio, Main Grandstand Club and Lounge, Terraza Club, Sky Boxes at Grada 10 and others. Its Paddock Club listing covers 8:00 to 18:00 access all three days, breakfast and lunch, one parking pass per four access rights, and Paddock Club Wi-Fi. It does not mention a pit lane walk. Main Grandstand Club guests can go onto the track after the race.
F1 Experiences runs a 2027 Mexico City deposit programme for priority access to its packages, plus a waitlist, without prices. Our hospitality guide compares what each kind of package includes.
Getting to the Autódromo
From the promoter's travel page:
- Metro Line 9 (brown) to Velódromo, Ciudad Deportiva or Puebla, MXN 5 a trip.
- Metrobús Line 2 to Iztacalco or UPIICSA, MXN 6.
- Free perimeter shuttles around the outside of the circuit between gates, 7am to 8pm, with a ticket.
- Ticket2Ride, a private round-trip shuttle from Condesa, Santa Fe and other areas, MXN 350 per person per day.
Our Mexico City 2026 guide covers the stadium section and connectivity at the circuit. A Mexico eSIM covers the trip, and the Americas plans cover Austin the weekend before on the same eSIM. See the US GP 2027 tickets guide and the F1 2027 on-sale dates hub.

Methodology
How we did this comparison
Read on mexicogp.mx, the Formula 1 ticket store and F1 Experiences on 30 October 2026, the weekend of the 2026 race. Every price here is for 2026 and labelled that way. The F1 store names a different metro line from the promoter; we follow the promoter. We do not link resale sites.
