Max Verstappen won the Singapore Grand Prix on 11 October 2026 at his tenth attempt. He started from pole and led from start to finish, on his 250th Grand Prix start, for his 73rd career win. Marina Bay was the last circuit from the 2025 calendar where he had never won. He has now won at all 24 of them, and at 27 different circuits in his career.
One venue is still missing, though. The Madring in Madrid joined the calendar this year, and Verstappen finished second at its first race. So the full answer is: every 2025 track, and 22 of the 23 tracks on the 2026 calendar.
Key takeaways
- First Singapore Grand Prix win, at his tenth start there, after three second places.
- 73rd career win, on his 250th Grand Prix start, from pole and leading every lap.
- He has now won at all 24 circuits on the 2025 calendar.
- On the 2026 calendar he has won at 22 of 23 venues. The new Madring in Madrid is the exception.
- He has won at 27 of the 33 circuits where he has raced.
How did Verstappen win in Singapore?
He controlled it from the front. Verstappen beat Charles Leclerc away from pole, made his pit stop on lap 33 and came out still leading, per PlanetF1's race report. He won by 7.335 seconds from Leclerc, with Kimi Antonelli third, 24.573 seconds back, according to the official classification.
It was his first Singapore Grand Prix win of his career, and his second Grand Prix win in a row after Sepang a week earlier. He also won Saturday's sprint, so he took every point on offer to one driver across the Singapore weekend.
Why did Singapore take so long?
Marina Bay was his bogey track. In nine starts before 2026, Verstappen finished on the podium three times without winning: second in 2018, 2024 and 2025, and third in 2019. All results below come from his Singapore results in the Jolpica F1 database and its list of Singapore winners, plus the 2026 classification.
| Year | Verstappen's result | Winner |
|---|---|---|
| 2015 | 8th | Sebastian Vettel |
| 2016 | 6th | Nico Rosberg |
| 2017 | Retired (first-lap accident) | Lewis Hamilton |
| 2018 | 2nd | Lewis Hamilton |
| 2019 | 3rd | Sebastian Vettel |
| 2022 | 7th | Sergio Perez |
| 2023 | 5th | Carlos Sainz |
| 2024 | 2nd | Lando Norris |
| 2025 | 2nd | George Russell |
| 2026 | 1st | Max Verstappen |
The race was not held in 2020 or 2021. In 2023, the year he won 19 of 22 races, Singapore was the only Grand Prix Red Bull did not win. Verstappen finished fifth.
Has Verstappen won at every circuit on the F1 calendar?
Not quite, but almost. PlanetF1 called Marina Bay the only track on the current calendar where he had never won. That is true of the 2025 calendar: Verstappen has now won at all 24 of its circuits.
The 2026 calendar has 23 venues, and it adds one he has not won at: the Madring, the new street circuit in Madrid that now hosts the Spanish Grand Prix. It held its first race on 13 September 2026, and Verstappen finished second behind Antonelli. Barcelona stays on the calendar as the Barcelona Grand Prix, and he has won there four times.
So the precise record is:
- Every 2025 circuit: 24 of 24 won.
- The 2026 calendar: 22 of 23 won. Only the Madring is missing, after one race there.
- His whole career: 27 of the 33 circuits where he has started a Grand Prix.
Where has Verstappen won the most?
His most successful circuits are the Red Bull Ring, the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City and Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi, with five wins each, according to his Grand Prix wins in Jolpica plus Singapore. Two of the Red Bull Ring wins came in 2021, one at the Styrian Grand Prix and one at the Austrian Grand Prix.
| Wins | Circuits |
|---|---|
| 5 | Red Bull Ring, Mexico City, Yas Marina |
| 4 | Barcelona-Catalunya, Imola, Circuit of the Americas, Suzuka |
| 3 | Interlagos, Spa-Francorchamps, Zandvoort, Montreal, Monza, Lusail |
| 2 | Sepang, Silverstone, Monaco, Paul Ricard, Jeddah, Miami, Baku, Hungaroring, Bahrain, Las Vegas |
| 1 | Hockenheim, Albert Park, Shanghai, Marina Bay |
That is 73 wins across 27 circuits. His first, at the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, came on his Red Bull debut.
Which circuits has Verstappen never won at?
Six of the 33 circuits where he has raced. Five of them are no longer on the calendar, and he finished second at all but one.
| Circuit | Grands Prix there | Best result |
|---|---|---|
| Madring, Madrid | 2026 | 2nd |
| Sochi | 2015 to 2021 | 2nd (2020, 2021) |
| Istanbul Park | 2020, 2021 | 2nd (2021) |
| Portimao | 2020, 2021 | 2nd (2021) |
| Nurburgring | 2020 | 2nd |
| Mugello | 2020 | Retired (collision) |
The Madring is the only one of the six on the 2026 calendar, so it is the only one he can still tick off.
What does the Singapore win mean for the 2026 title?
On its own, not enough. Verstappen is fourth on 221 points, 119 behind Antonelli, with six races and 150 points left. Even if Max wins every remaining race, Antonelli only has to score more than 30 points to stop him winning the title outright. Our Verstappen title maths sets out exactly what he needs from each race, and when he could be knocked out.
His next chance to add to the tally is the United States Grand Prix in Austin on 25 October, where he has won four times. Our Austin race guide covers session times and getting to the circuit, and the 2026 season eSIM guide covers the rest of the run-in.

Methodology
How we did this comparison
Career figures come from the Jolpica F1 database, which our F1 data feed uses: every Grand Prix Verstappen has started, every race he has won and the circuit each was held at, plus the full list of Singapore Grand Prix winners. We added the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix from the official formula1.com classification. We counted a circuit as "won" when he has won at least one Grand Prix there, under any event name. For example, his 2026 win at Sepang came at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, and his 2020 Silverstone win came at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix.
Calendar comparisons use the 2025 and 2026 calendars as published by Formula 1 and recorded in Jolpica. Sprint wins are not counted anywhere on this page. Every count was computed by script.
